Date: Sometime, a few weeks after graduating Hogwarts. Summer 1978

I've decided to take the step. Soon enough, after I tell Sirius of course. Merlin knows how he'll react. Good way I hope.

I'm going to ask Lily to marry me. I'd like to then hopefully plan a wedding for fall? Halloween Weeding? That would be brilliant. But I have to ask her first.

I just got back from visiting mum and dad. They're not doing good these days. I worry if their getting close to the end of their time? I hope not, I do hope that they have more time. I'd only hope that if Lily says yes, they can be at the wedding, then hopefully be around to see their first grandchild.

Well, I hear Sirius coming back. Time to tell him.

Sirius? When are you going to come back home? To Self where James is mumbleing in his mind...: watch him have like 2 girls drapped over his shoulders...Remus I hear would never be caught like that. Then again...I think he got a place in London...I better tell him too...
